Dear Ron,
The best decision we’ve made about selling our home was hiring you for pre-sale home inspection. You spent SO much time with us, and left us the most detailed report with recommendations for improvement. I wish you had inspected the home when we bought it, for many things were over looked by the realtor recommended inspector when we purchased it.
It was a real eye opener to have you point out errors made by licensed contractors we hired for upgrades and renovations. I wish I had you inspect their work immediately upon their completion. I’m sure the work would have been corrected or money refunded.
The money we spent with you will save us thousands of dollars in the long run for we are able to fix and repair a lot of the things you pointed out ourselves. We also are able to feel secure about the safety of our home and know when a home inspection is done by any buyer’s choice we will not have any surprises.

Ron you were right this is pretty impressive and I don't impress easily but I know excellent work when I see it. I could actually present this to a buyer, lender, etc. and they would be blown away with the amount of detail contained in this report.

Hi Ron,
Well, we are finally moved into our new home on Critchett Road and just got our internet and phone connections yesterday! We just love the place and know that this was the right home for us. I just wanted to thank you for your excellent work in helping us to make the most informed decision possible in buying the right home. As you know, the first house we looked at was truly the "house from hell" and would have been a disastrous choice for us. The catch was that the things that made it such were certainly not obvious to the untrained eye and it sure looked like a nice place on first glance! Please feel free to use us as a reference to your potential home inspection customers. Your patience and thorough inspection were worth every penny! By the way, as you may recall, you recommended that the garage should be sheet rocked due to building and fire codes. The previous owners said that their home inspector did not mention this violation! They had a contractor do the work to code as a contingency before closing......thanks, Ron!

I hired AppleWood Home Inspections to inspect a home my family had not viewed in person. We were conducting an internet purchase, as we were not able to fly across country to view the home in person. Ron gave us a thorough and impartial professional inspection, documenting on paper and via digital photos all issues he found. He performed several phone calls with us, arranging to talk with us in our time zone, and ensuring we understood all issues. There were many issues, which we decided were worth taking care of on our own, and decided to purchase the home! I would hire AppleWood again!

Ron has such an incredible knowledge of all aspects of checking the house. We just had our home inspected by Ron on Saturday and Ron did a great job checking the home and took the time to explain what he is looking for and happy to share this knowledge and answer questions. We were looking around for a good and thorough home inspection after we had a bad experience with a previous home we purchased. Ron is so very honest and friendly and knowledgeable and also easy to work with. He also spent as much time as was necessary going over all aspects of the home and answering questions. The information we got from Ron made my home buying experience easy and even enjoyable. We feel we gained a great deal of knowledge about the home we want to buy. We can just go on and on about our experience with the home inspection. We definitely recommend Ron Racine and Applewood to everybody who is going through a home buying experience. The other great thing that we want to point out is the report we got. The report includes pictures that Ron took with his digital camera, of the problems that he found. It is so easy to follow. Just clear and easy to read through! I wish we knew about Ron and Applewood when we bought our previous home.

Just a quick note to say thank you for a pre-purchase inspection of the house.
As you know, I had reviewed several web sites and interviewed home inspectors before I asked you to do the job. I was impressed by the quality of your home page, its professionalism, thoughtfulness and the presentation of the topic.
The way you conducted the actual inspection not only meet our expectations but by far exceeded them. Your attention to detail and an extremely thorough examination of every aspect of the house made us believe that we made the right decision hiring you. And indeed, we did. The report that arrived a few days later confirmed what we saw on the day of the inspection. Your report, meticulously prepared and illustrated with numerous photos of the house and its surroundings, truly confirmed what you promised that you will give your very best effort.
